Thousands of citizens protested for over 48 hours without interruption, enduring tear gas and police hydrants! Until they achieved their goal: the censorious and anti-democratic project/law supported by the government and the majority was withdrawn. An iconic video from the protest went viral on the Internet: there, a student with a European flag in her hand was hit by a splash of water, fell and got up again, and approached the anti-riot police squads that separated her from the parliament building.
